What To Expect

To ensure your appointment runs smoothly, here are some things to know. Once you've booked your appointment you will receive a couple forms via e-mail. To lessen your appointment time, we ask these be completed before we arrive. Your specimen collector will arrive to begin testing. We kindly ask that all parties are ready and available for testing with valid government issued ID’s. Some tests will require us to take a current photo of you (the donor) which will be sent to the lab with your specimen, for verification purposes. Once testing is complete, all specimens are confirmed and securely packaged for shipment!

The type of test determines the type of collection sample a donor is required to give. The most common methods for DNA collections are oral swabbing of the inner cheeks or blood samples from the arm or hand. As for drug testing, urine, hair, saliva (oral fluid), blood, nails, or sweat samples can all be used as test specimens. In federally regulated programs, such as DOT Drug Testing, only urine samples are collected. 

We understand receiving your results promptly is important and we are committed to reporting your results quickly and securely. Once test results are made available by our lab partner, we immediately send them to the responsible parties. Delivery is made via direct e-mail and never released over the phone. The average lab test results typically take 2-3 business days to process, however; depending on the complexity of the test some may take longer.
